Softlanding Presents:
Creative Retreat in Mexico City

Awaken Your Creative Spirit at Inspiración
A Six-Day Creative Retreat in Mexico City + Xochimilco
November 6–11, 2025

Step away from the noise and into a space where your creative self can breathe. Over five vibrant days, we’ll gather to explore art, beauty, and self-expression across one of the most inspiring cities in the world. Through ritual, cultural immersion, collaborative creation, and time for reflection, you’ll be invited to create from a deeper place - one rooted in art and cultural wonder.

Each day is anchored by a theme, helping you ground, explore, and integrate your experience. The rhythm is gentle but intentional: a blend of structure and spaciousness designed to support your nervous system while sparking your imagination.

Day One — Grounding & Intention

You arrive. We settle into our home, surrounded by blooms, warmth, and possibility. This is the day of soft landings - of meeting yourself and the group with openness. We set intentions through quiet creation and collective ritual, allowing Mexico's layered history and present vibrance to hold us.

Day Two — Process & Permission

Here, we begin to explore. Guided by intuition and curiosity, we let go of outcomes and enter the process itself. Inspired by Mexico City’s imperfect beauty—its cracked tiles, bold murals, and living altars. We give ourselves permission to play, to experiment, and to not know.

Day Three — The Water Rises and Falls

We float down the ancient canals of Xochimilco, surrounded by music, sky, and color. This is a day of surrender, of listening with all the senses. Whether you're sketching reflections or simply sitting still, the invitation is to let the water remind you of flow, memory, and the pleasure of not rushing. We will touch on the Tao principles today.

Day Four — Observation & Response

The city is our canvas. We practice seeing deeply, walking its markets, museums, and side streets with an artist’s eye. Through writing, photography, music, movement or sketching, we respond to what moves us. This is a day of dialogue between self and surroundings, where art becomes a conversation and collaboration.

Day Five — Integration & Expression

What wants to take form? As we gather what we've seen and felt, you’ll be invited to follow your creative impulse, whether it leads to collage, journaling, a poem, or quiet contemplation. There's space here for what’s unfinished, emerging, or simply alive.

Day Six — Closure & Celebration

Our final day is for honoring. Through ritual, reflection, and shared expression, we mark what has opened, softened, and come alive. A closing circle, a final meal, a small offering back to the creative self. You leave not just with what you made—but with how you felt making it.
